
NOT SO SECRET SANTA
Persil Digital Campaign

Challenge: Persil wanted to reward their customers for their loyalty over the year with a special Christmas campaign.
Solution: "Not So Secret Santa" - A digital campaign that allowed their customers to gift bottles of Persil to their Facebook friends.
Social Media Posts
The campaign began on social media, starting with teaser posts & then directing users to the microsite after the launch.




Gifting Pages
Once on the microsite customers can choose a friend to receive the secret santa gift (a bottle of Persil).
Before designing the social media posts & microsite, I developed the campaign's look & feel, blending product photography & digital illustration with fabric textures as a reference the product.


The microsite was built by a third party who were very prescriptive about what elements we could have on the pages, limiting how we could layout the content.
One of the ways interest could be added was through the background images. As the user went through the steps on the gifting pages, the background shows Santa gathering & delivering the Persil presents.



All gone!
There was a maximum number of bottles to give away each day & the campaign also only ran for 14 days.
I wanted the pages to convey this information in a playful & positive way, through imagery such as Santa emptying a sack of coal.
Receiving Pages
The recipient of the Secret Santa gift is directed to the microsite, where they can fill out the address where they want the bottle of Persil to be delivered.
